Agility consists of a series of obstacles, including jumps, tunnel, weave poles, A-frame, and tire completed with speed and accuracy.  Agility is great for confidence and team building.  Our program is structured for you to learn good skills and to have a lot of fun with your dog!  Prerequisite: Dogs must be over 3 months, have attended an obedience class, and be able to be controlled by the handler with simple commands such as “sit”, “down”, “stay”, and “come”.  The classes will cover the introduction of standard agility equipment.  Positive training methods will be used.  You must have on and off leash control of your dog and a strong recall.  Each six-week session has one class per week for approximately one hour.  In order to participate you will need to pre-register.

Your dog must be healthy and non- aggressive.  A current shot record from your vet and a signed Hold Harmless Agreement will also be required.

Private lessons are excellent for solving behavioral problems or for working with young puppies or adult dogs.  Does your dog exhibit crate or separation anxiety?  Does your dog jump up on your houseguests?  I’ll be glad to work with you and your dog to resolve these issues.  Private lessons can also help you teach a new puppy or adult dog proper household behavior.  Let me help and teach you how to crate train and housebreak your dog.  Learn how to establish yourself as your puppy’s pack leader and how to earn his/her respect.  Position yourself for a terrific long-term relationship with your new dog.

Dog must be healthy, current on all vaccinations and non-aggressive.  Pets who exhibit aggressive tendencies may require additional training time and costs.

Cost:  $75.oo/hour  (price is for one dog, add 50% more for each additional dog)

Many people just don’t have the skills, knowledge, or time to train their dog.  Or maybe you are going on vacation and would like to come home to a trained pet?  I’ll be glad to train your dog for you.  Your dog will stay with us in our kennels for 10 days.  In the 10 days we can typically accomplish everything that your dog would learn in a 6-week obedience class.  At the end of the training I will conduct a 1-hour turnover lesson to demonstrate what your dog has learned, and also to teach you what you need to know to continue your dog’s education at home.

*** Depending on your dog’s abilities additional time may be required of up to 4 days. ***

Dog must be healthy, current on all vaccinations and non-aggressive.  Pets who exhibit aggressive tendencies may require additional training time and costs.
