Meet the Staff

S H E R R Y
Owner
Sherry is the founder and President of Pet Styling by Sherry, Inc.  She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio.  In 1978 she started learning how to groom at a vocational school that taught small animal care, pet shop management and veterinary care.  In 1980 she moved to Houston, TX where she groomed in several different locations before opening Pet Styling by Sherry in 1997.  The company was just a grooming salon at first, but in 2000 she moved to the current location and started offering boarding and daycare services.  Sherry is a member of the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists and is certified through the National Dog Groomers Association of America in Sporting, Non-Sporting and Terrier groups.  Sherry's favorite groom is a poodle pattern with scissor work.  Her favorite breed is the Standard Poodle, but most of all, Sherry loves cats!  Sherry has been married to her wonderful husband Mark for over 15 years and together they enjoy the outdoors by boating, fishing, and camping.   She has two dogs:  Jazz (an Irish Setter) and Maverick (an English Springer Spaniel), and three cats: Merlin, Magic, and Bernie.  Sherry no longer grooms here at Pet Styling by Sherry, she just enjoys being the proud owner of Houston's best grooming, boarding, daycare and training facility!

M I C H E L L E
Office Manager
Michelle has been with us since June of 2005.  She has two children, and a cat named Charlotte.  Michelle was born in California, raised in Massachusetts and moved to Houston in 1983.   Michelle has eight years of veterinary experience and enjoys working with animals, especially cats. Her favorite breed is the English Bull Dog and although she does not currently own one, she has in the past and would love to have another one someday.  When she's not at work she likes to spend time with her children.

M A R Y
Assistant Manager
Mary has been with Pet Styling by Sherry since August of 2005.  Mary has two miniature pinschers: Tator Tot and Scooter, a beautiful doberman pinscher Rogue, a cat named Leela and a snail named Angel.  Mary is currently working on her bachelors degree in business at Sam Houston State University.  In her free time, Mary likes to work out, spend time with her friends and paint her house!

S T E P H A N I E
Receptionist
Stephanie joined our team in August of 2007.  She has a nine year old daughter, Hillary, and a min pin named Daisy, and a cat named Adena.  In her free time, Stephanie likes going to the movies and spending time with her friends.  Her favorite breed is the min pin, of course!

M A R I A - A N N
Groomer
Maria-Ann has been with us since June of 2005.  She started off working in the kennels and bathing and has since started grooming!  Maria-Ann has five dogs: Radar (a Boston Terrier, Scooter (a Shar Pei mix), Harley (a dachshund), Jenny (a Beagle/Dachshund mix), and Boy (a chihuahua).  Maria-Ann's favorite breed is the Dachshund.  Maria-Ann also has a beautiful son named Landon.

G E R I
Groomer
Geri has been with Pet Styling by Sherry since January of 2008.  Geri is from Long Island, New York and recently moved to Texas for a warmer climate and to be closer to her family.  Geri has 4 greyhounds, 1 saluki, 2 cornish rex cats and a senegal parrot.  Geri's favorite breeds are the sight hounds but she loves to groom terriers!

Groomer
Corinne joined the team at Pet Styling by Sherry in August of 2009.  She has a chocolate lab named Tex and a ragdoll cat named Sassy.  Corinne likes to groom mixed breed dogs and in her spare time she enjoys growing a wide variety of plants.

A U S T I N
Groomer
Austin has been with us since September of 2009.  He is a recent graduate of Jersey Village High School (class of 2008)...Go Falcons!  Austin's favorite breed is the Staffordshire terrier but his favorite breed to groom in the golden retriever.  An interesting fact about Austin is that he can ride a unicycle!

J O S H
Daycare Counselor
Josh started working for Pet Styling by Sherry in November of 2006.  He runs our daycare program Monday through Saturday and has a magic touch with all dogs.  He has no dogs of his own, but he is a cat lover and has several kitties at home.

Bather/Kennels
Ashley started working for Pet Styling by Sherry in July of 2007.  She recently graduated from Cy-Falls High School...Go Eagles!  She has a cocker spaniel named Zoey and her favorite breed is the shih tzu. 

B E C K Y
Kennels
Becky is the newest member of our team!  Her dog Sandy has come to Sherry's for grooming for years and now Becky is helping take care of your furry family member!
